Wife of an OIF Vet whom I love dearly. We were high school sweethearts and have been married almost 10 years.
Mom to an adorable 2-1/2 yr old daughter who is an amazing bundle of energy, love, & inspiration.
Founder of FamilyofaVet.com - started because I found that too many "new" veteran families were floundering without enough support or real-life information, especially about PTSD.
Member of Vietnam Veteran Wives - an organization that has done so much to help our family figure out how to cope with PTSD and the "after shocks" of combat.
Also, a wiz at small business marketing, websites, & graphic design. Any Vets or families who own businesses, I'll be glad to work out a "friends & family" discount! ComeGrowWithUs.biz.

Combat PTSD - What Veteran Families Need to Know!
Join Yuku to Support VBN
I didn't know until recently that VBN (the Veteran's Benefit Network) is not free... that Vol (the site owner) has to pay for our use of the board
based on how many pages, posts, etc. Anyway, I was using the board assuming that it was free. When I found out it wasn't, I wanted to support VBN since
it's been such a HUGE support to our family. So, if this is new info for you, and you'd like to join Yuku so that all your posts, etc., are free for
Vol, just hit the "FAQ" link at the bottom of any board page and then follow the link to "Learn about Yuku Supporter individual user
subscriptions." It only costs $12/year. A bargain if you ask me!!!
FYI - I found out sort of by accident about this, because the guys & gals that run the board are never going to ask you to join. And, I have no "ulterior" motive for tellling you this (I don't get any portion, etc.). I just really think that if you're using the board on a normal basis and can afford to, that it's important to support VBN and help Vol keep it going.
